The Kingdom of the West
This page has resources about upcoming events in the Kingdom, various guilds, a Who's Who, explanations of awards, information about the Arts & Sciences, etc. There's a lot of useful information here, but be warned, a few of the subpages have a tendency to get out of date. It can be useful to cross-reference with more specific or locally run web pages for specifics about an event or topic.
The West Kingdom Wiki
This is an unofficial resource for SCAdians in the West. It works like any other wiki which means that any user can make edits--sometimes it catches things the main page misses, and sometimes it just covers different things.
The Principality of the Mists
The Mists, in general terms, is comprised of a stretch of coastal California centered on the Bay Area. While some Principality events are held a fair ways north, others are held right in our own back yard.
The Barony of Darkwood
Darkwood is the local Barony and includes Santa Cruz, Monterey, Gilroy, etc.
The Canton of Caer Darth
The local group for Santa Cruz. They or Darkwood host a lot of the practices and meetings that are in easy range of UCSC campus, making these two sites a good place for more information about what's going on locally.
Other Nearby Groups:
The Province of Southern Shores covers the towns of San Jose, Campbell, Saratoga, Los Gatos, and parts of Santa Clara.
The Shire of Crosston covers the northwest of Santa Clara and is well known for their dance practices and annual ball. Their yahoo group also contains information on the West Kingdom Choir.
